65 Degrees North will deliver a multi-activity week centred at Northern Outdoor’s Golden Hills location in Belford, Northumberland, from 20th to 25th September. This area of the Northumberland countryside and coastline offers some of the most unspoilt and breathtaking landscapes in the UK.

This fully supported programme is designed specifically for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans, offering a unique opportunity to rebuild confidence, resilience and connection through adventure.

The week will include a range of guided outdoor activities delivered by fully qualified and experienced instructors. Participants will be able to challenge themselves at their own pace in a safe and inclusive environment, while connecting with others who share similar experiences.

Activities include climbing & abseiling, team challenges, coasteering, coastal rowing, kayaking and bushcraft, alongside opportunities for reflection and personal development.

The programme, open to service personnel and veterans who are currently recovering from physicl or mental injury or illness, will provide a structured and supportive environment designed to encourage personal growth, development and progression throughout the week.

The power of these shared experiences in the outdoors cannot be overstated. Bringing together individuals who have faced similar physical and emotional challenges helps foster a strong sense of community, where participants can rebuild confidence, develop camaraderie and re-discover a renewed sense of purpose.
