On 16 May 2026, an ambitious and inspiring challenge will take place: walking the South West Coast Path in a single day.

This event is organised and delivered by an external team, on behalf of 65 Degrees North, supporting the charity’s ongoing work.

As the UK’s longest continuous walking trail at 630 miles, the path is divided into 52 individual legs, each typically taking a full day to complete.  The goal is simple but powerful: to have at least 52 individuals or groups each take on one leg of the path on the same day.

This is more than just a walking challenge, it’s a collective effort that reflects the resilience, teamwork and determination that 65 Degrees North instils in those it supports.

The event is open to everyone, whether you’re an experienced hiker or simply looking to enjoy a day along some of the most breathtaking coastline in the world, this is your opportunity to be part of something meaningful.  Bring friends or family, and help spread the word, because every step taken helps make a difference.

Together, the aim is to raise £5,000 to support the continued work of 65 Degrees North, ensuring we can keep transforming lives through adventure and rehabilitation.

Recently, following a social media campaign, the take-up has been fantastic, but there is still one leg where volunteers are required:

Crackington Haven to Tintagel 11 miles.

If you would like to take part and have a great day out in the South West, or have any questions, please, do not contact us at 65 Degrees North but rather, get in touch with Chris C. at: swcp.65dn@gmail.com
