We are proud to have Jonathan Thompson join us as a Trustee.

Born in Oxford, Jonathan served with distinction in the Royal Marines for 35 years, joining in 1963 and retiring in 1998. During his military career he commanded at every level from Troop to Brigade and also represented the Royal Marines as an international orienteer.

Following his service, Jonathan continued to contribute through a successful career in business until 2015.

Jonathan has since devoted significant time and energy to charitable causes supporting service personnel and veterans. As a Patron of 65 Degrees North, he organised and led major cycling and sailing expeditions across Europe and Australia, and after 2020 completed six further cycle challenges in support of PTSD Resolution, raising approximately £160,000.

Jonathan brings exceptional leadership experience, commitment and compassion to the Board.
